The Robohand RP-12 Double Wedge Parallel Gripper is a rugged 2-jaw pneumatic gripper designed for high-impact industrial applications. Featuring a patented double wedge mechanism, it delivers a powerful grip force of 40 lbf (178N) with a compact 0.38-inch stroke and 1-inch bore.

Its synchronous jaw operation ensures balanced movement, while the sealed body protects internal components from contamination in harsh environments. The RP-12 is built from lightweight aluminum and supports finger lengths up to 3.5 inches. With a repeatability of ±0.001 inch and accuracy of ±0.002 inch, it’s ideal for precision gripping tasks in assembly, packaging, and inline part pressing.

This gripper operates within a pressure range of 40–100 psi and a temperature range of -30°F to 180°F. It does not include a spindle and is compatible with a range of accessories for enhanced functionality.
