Destaco 227-U Horizontal Locking Clamp is a compact, manual hold-down clamp designed for secure and repeatable clamping in assembly, woodworking, and fixture-checking applications. Featuring a flanged base and U-bar clamp arm, this model offers versatile mounting and stable engagement with workpieces.
The clamp arm measures 2.65 inches in length with 1.25 inches of clearance underneath, and the horizontal handle provides ergonomic control with improved hand clearance between the bar and handle. The clamp opens to a maximum of 91 degrees and includes a toggle lock mechanism to maintain pressure during use.
Made of alloy steel with a red plastic grip, the 227-U is compatible with spindle assemblies like the 225208-M (sold separately). It’s ideal for applications with limited overhead clearance and does not accommodate workpiece variation.
